Nimble Dragon Media, Inc. is the legal entity behind our software products and published titles. We design, build, and maintain apps that solve real operational problems for nonprofits and small businesses.
Giving Toolbox is our flagship product. We also publish TeeFast Golf, a standalone golf tournament management module. All our software is built from personal experience — never from a whiteboard.

Nimble Dragon Studios is the assumed business name of Nimble Dragon Media, Inc., operating as the creative services division. The Studios side handles work that requires cameras, microphones, drones, presses, and screens.
The two sides of the company share the same roots — a belief that small organizations deserve professional quality that used to require large budgets. Giving Toolbox itself grew directly out of the Studios' nonprofit client work.

How Giving Toolbox was built.

Years of listening.
Nimble Dragon Studios has worked with nonprofits for years producing micro-documentaries and video marketing — a storytelling process that blends social science, psychology, and visual narrative to create the emotional connection that moves people to act. Through those client relationships we quietly accumulated something more valuable than footage: a deep understanding of the internal struggles nonprofits face every day.

One audit. One question.
During a project with a nonprofit client, their finance manager mentioned they were in the middle of a lengthy audit. She asked if I could recommend an app to scan receipts and export them. I happened to have just finished PriceRight Pro — our AI-powered business management app for contractors & solopreneurs — on my phone. I showed her how it uses AI to scan receipts and automatically categorize expenses into Schedule C. She was amazed. Then she asked: "Could you make it categorize into Form 990 instead?" That was the moment.

The ah-hah moment.
That single question unlocked everything. Giving Toolbox is the nonprofit version of PriceRight Pro — built from the same AI receipt scanning foundation, rebuilt for 990 compliance. Every fundraising problem I had observed over the years suddenly had a solution I knew how to build. The app grew from there.

Every feature has a story.
The same nonprofit client also needed to accept credit card donations in person. Stripe does not make that easy out of the box, so we built it into Giving Toolbox. They were also struggling with a web app for ticket sales that had a clunky companion app to scan QR codes at the door — so we built full event ticketing and QR check-in directly into the app. In a completely separate conversation, the executive director of another nonprofit asked me for recommendations on silent auction software. We built that too.

We build because someone in front of us had a problem we knew we could solve.
